English Oak flake studs - 9ct gold

These 9ct gold studs are formed from small flakes of English Oak bark, retaining the irregular outlines, fine creases and natural openings of the original fragments. Their thin, uneven forms give each earring a delicate and distinctly organic personality.

Issy selects and forages the bark before casting it directly in recycled gold. The casting preserves the tactile surface and naturally weathered edges rather than smoothing them, turning two tiny pieces of Oak into an individual pair of studs.
