English Oak slither studs - 9ct gold

These irregular 9ct yellow gold studs are formed from narrow slithers of English Oak bark. Their rugged contours twist and change along their length, with deep markings and tactile details giving each fragment its own organic personality.

Issy forages the original pieces of bark for their distinctive shapes and surfaces before casting them directly in recycled gold. Rather than smoothing or regularising their outlines, the design retains the sculptural character of the natural fragments in a compact pair of earrings.
