Autumn Leaf - Tomfoolery Art Ring 2025

Please note, this is a one-of-a-kind ring made for Tomfoolerys ARTring 2025 exhibition. ARTring is an annual celebration of bold design and craftsmanship showcasing masterful creations from over 40 unique designers. The ARTring event is hosted in Tomfoolerys gallery from November to January. Each ARTring comes with a dedicated Story Card featuring a sketch and quote from the designer.

The Autumn Leaf Art Ring by Issy White – a sculptural, nature-inspired design in 14ct yellow gold, featuring a rich brown Montana sapphire as its centerpiece. Accented with champagne diamonds, yellow sapphires, and green tourmalines, the ring evokes the warm, layered hues of autumn foliage in a bold, handcrafted statement piece.

Issy says about her Art Ring:

“In autumn, deciduous trees start the process of shedding their leaves, drawing nutrients back down to the roots, to help the tree survive the winter months. Often, the leaves at the top go first, turning to reds, oranges and yellows. Then the lower leaves start turning, as the tree fully embraces autumn. Finally, the leaves turn brown and fall – the tree is ready for the colder months ahead. This ring is my interpretation, from a bird’s eye view, of an English Oak tree in autumn.”
