Beech lichen necklace - silver and gemstone

This silver pendant necklace is cast directly from Beech bark, reproducing its refined, almost dotted surface in precious metal.

The restrained Beech texture provides a natural canvas for clusters of tourmalines, diamonds, sapphire and peridot. Issy has scattered the gemstones across the 20mm pendant to evoke the dappled, spreading forms of lichen clinging to the surface of a tree.
