Acorn necklace - bronze

One of Issy’s early designs, this acorn necklace helped establish an idea that would become central to her work. By casting it in metal, Issy discovered the beauty of using objects foraged from nature as the direct starting point for contemporary jewellery.

Issy found the original acorn in Epping Forest and cast it directly in bronze, capturing its distinctive form and intricate, tactile surface. Suspended from an 18-inch gold-plated silver chain, the finished pendant retains the character of the original acorn in metal.
