Chunky Oak ring - silver

Deep fissures, rugged contours and a natural negative space give this chunky silver ring its organic personality.

At 8mm wide, the band provides a generous canvas for the distinctive character of weathered English Oak bark.

The ring takes its texture and irregular form directly from a fragment of bark selected and foraged by Issy. Casting carries those natural details into recycled sterling silver, before Issy shapes and refines the piece into a bold, sculptural band.
