Inside Oak lined ring - 9ct gold, sapphire and diamonds

A two-tone yellow and white sapphire forms the centrepiece of this 9ct gold ring, flanked symmetrically by three white diamonds on either side. The central sapphire is bezel-set with an open back, while each of the six diamonds is individually grain-set.

The 6mm band takes its fine, linear texture from the inside of English Oak bark, which is sheltered from the elements by its more weathered outer surface. The subtle lines of the bark run beneath the structured gemstone arrangement, bringing natural irregularity and precise stone-setting together in the finished design.
