OOAK Inside English Oak ring - 14ct gold and rose cut diamond

A beautiful 1.5ct rose-cut diamond sits at the centre of this one-of-a-kind 14ct gold ring. Its warm, earthy colour and softly faceted surface complement the organic markings of the gold band.

Issy cast the ring directly from the inside of English Oak bark, using a fragment with an unusually fine pattern of tiny indentations rather than the linear markings found on many Inside Oak pieces. Across the 8mm band, this almost stippled texture creates a tactile natural surface that encases the large diamond, while the ring’s irregular contours follow the form of the original bark.
