Silver Birch ring - silver and aquamarine

This silver ring is cast directly from the bark of a Silver Birch tree and set with an aquamarine. The 7mm band reproduces the tree's characteristically smooth surface and distinctive horizontal lenticels in recycled precious metal.

The long aquamarine introduces a strong, clean form against the fine linear pattern of the bark, while the smooth bezel setting gives the stone a clearly defined place within the textured band.
